Corrections policy

Corrections policy

Fly Above Fear’s corrections policy provides a simple and clear mechanism for anyone to identify errors – and ensures we fix them immediately.

Reliable, accurate and informative

At Fly Above Fear, we aim to provide accurate, reliable, and evidence-based information to help you manage your fear of flying.

We have a responsibility to ensure everything here is accurate because we cover complex topics that involve aviation, engineering, and mental health. It’s a responsibility that we take very seriously.

Fly Above Fear was founded by Lawrie Jones, a professional journalist and content writer with 20 years’ experience in the aviation, engineering and healthcare sectors. We aim to ensure that every article is thoroughly researched and factually sound.

Our correction procedure

Despite our best efforts, we recognise that errors can occur. We are committed to transparency and will address any inaccuracies you raise as quickly as possible.

Here’s how it works:

Step #1: Report an error

If you spot a factual inaccuracy, broken information, or a typo, please contact us at hello@flyabovefear.com.

Please include the article title, the specific error you found, and, if possible, the correct information or a source that supports the correction. This ensures that we can rapidly review it and ensures we get everything right.

Step #2: Review process

Once we receive your report, our editorial team will investigate the claim. If we determine that we’ve published an error, we’ll correct the content as soon as possible.

Step #3: Transparency in updates

When we correct an article, we’ll clearly state the update at the bottom of the piece (e.g., “This article was updated on [Date] to correct [Specific Detail].”).

This ensures our readers always have the most accurate, current information.
